The museum

Take the discovery of archaeological heritage of Provence, so playful and instructive!
The Museum of Prehistory at Quinson recounts a million years of history of human adventure in Provence. You learn while having fun with the interactive consoles and its impressive 3D reconstructions. The explanatory panels and videos you will also find out more.
A temporary exhibition space is also open. In 2008, the museum has relied on the imagination with "Big Foot the Yeti, anthropology of the imagination"
Finally, you can participate in workshops and practical introduction to the prehistoric techniques of manufacture of fire, archery. You can also attend a demonstration size of the stone.

Rates

  • Adults: 7 €
  • Children 6 to 18 and reduced fare (students, unemployed): 5 €
  • Children under 6 years: free
  • Family package (2 adults + 2 children): 20 € and 2.50 € / additional child

In February, March, October, November and December: 10h-18h except Tuesday
From April to June and September: 10 am-19h except Tuesday
July and August: from 10 am to 20h every day
Open Tuesdays during the holidays Area B.
