The museum

The manufacture of earthenware held a very important part in the history of Moustiers. Indeed, many potters lived and worked in the sixteenth and seventeenth century.
The museum will help you understand how an earthenware is made and what is its value (fine lines, the weight of the object…). You can also get acquainted with works by contemporary artists.
You can finally visit the workshop Saint-Michel, where Martial Baudey, best worker in France, will open its doors. You can admire and learn, for example, her jewelry glazed terra de Moustiers.

Opened

From April 1 to October 31: open from 10am to 12.30pm and 14h-18h (except Tuesday)
In July and August: open daily until 19h and free on Tuesday
From 1 November to 31 December and from February 1 to March 31: Open 14h-17h on weekends and school holidays
